Bio
Lucile Marie Makovicka was born March 20, 1912 on a farm west of Dwight, Nebraska to John and Frances (Hottovy) Tesina and died in Seward, Nebraska November 3, 2006 at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 14 days. Lucile attended school in and around Dwight, Nebraska. She married Emil L. Makovicka January 27, 1948 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. To this union four children were born, James, Jerome, Steve and Thomas. They lived on a farm near Ulysses, where she enjoyed gardening, cooking and her pets. Lucile was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ulysses. Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances (Hottovy) Tesina, husband, Emil Makovicka, brothers, Emil and John III (Jack) Tesina, sisters, Emma Gruntorad and Frances Vanderheiden.
