Gladys Bertha Hammond July 14, 1903 - April 4, 1990 DALLAS - Gladys Bertha Hammond, 86, died Wednesday in Dallas. Born in Eldorado, Okla., she moved to Rose Lodge in 1927 and to Newport in 1937, living there until coming to Dallas in November. She was a homemaker and a member of Newport Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Bernadine Hanson of Dallas; son, Morris of Santa Ana, Calif.; and half-brothers, Currie Criswell of Earp, Calif., and W. A.Criswell Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eureka Cemetery, Newport. Arrangements are by Dallas mortuary.
