Trudy P. Duckworth September 23, 1951 – December 5, 2024 IN THE CARE OF Eubank Funeral Home & Haven of Memories Memorial Park Trudy passed from this life peacefully on December 5, 2024 in Dallas. She was born September 23, 1951 in Kaufman to Dillard Kirby and Betty Jean Glenn Pruitt. She was their first of six children. Trudy was a member of Lakepoint Church in Forney. She loved reading her Bibles and watching church services on TV. Trudy retired from Southwestern Bell and then started another career in real estate and new home sales. She never met a stranger and was able to connect with people very easily. Trudy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She told her kids, if she knew grandkids were so wonderful she would have had them first. Trudy was spunky, and had a soft side for her family. She would do anything she could for her family. She loved her brothers and sister so much! Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Betty Pruitt; her grandson, Jacob Andrew Jenkins; and sister, Brenda Creamer. She is survived by her son, Christopher and Stephanie Duckworth; daughter, Chastity and Ricky Jenkins; three grandchildren: Tanner Duckworth, Jordan Jenkins and Macy Jenkins; two brothers: Keith (Pam) Pruitt and Steve Pruitt; and two sisters: Cheryl Pendleton and Ramona Beetle as well as her nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Stephen Pruitt, Chris Shipley, Brad Creamer, Eli LaMann and Nathan LaMann.
