It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Landry A. Bailey Jr. (Booger Red), a beloved husband, father and grandfather, who left us on December 3, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on January 29, 1944, in DeRidder, Louisiana, Landry lived a full and vibrant life, cultivating deep connections with his family and friends throughout his years. Landry was a hardworking carpenter, proudly associated with Carpenters Local 953 in Lake Charles, LA. He was a man who always had a job for anyone who was willing to put in the effort. His love for family and friends truly defined him. Landry was the family's rock and the ultimate "family boss." He treasured spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He had a passion for hunting, farming, and gardening, activities that he cherished and shared with those he loved. He was an avid outdoorsman. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-nine years, his son, his daughter, his brother, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
