Bio

Christianna "Crissy" or "Crissa" Lovett was born to Richard and Mary Sarah Johnston Lovett in 1822 in Warren County, Georgia. Christianna married James Pierce Wood a day before Christmas; Dec. 24, 1839 in Warren County, Georgia. By 1850, they appeared to be living in Coffee, Alabama, although her children born about this time say they were born in Georgia. By 1860, they were living in Nacogdoches, Angelina, Texas. Crissy appears to have died shortly after the 1860 census and her husband James Pierce Wood then marries Abigail Price Walker in 1862. Crissy and James Pierce Wood's children were: Richard, Sarah, David, Drucilla, James, Robert, John, and Annie.
