June Fecht, 82, of David City, died Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Butler County Healthcare Center in David City. Funeral Service Monday, December 2, 2024, 10:30 A.M. Redeemer Lutheran Church, David City Rev. David Palomaki, Officiating Visitation Sunday 2-4 P.M. Kracl Funeral Chapel, David City Visitation continues Monday 9:30-10:30 at the church Lunch immediately following the service in the church hall Committal 2:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne, Nebraska, Pastor Alex Blanken June was born November 19, 1942, in Wilkensburg, Pennsylvania to Wilbert and Marjorie (Leonard) Hyde. The family moved to Nebraska and June graduated from Pender High School. She married Vern LeRoy Grimm and they had three daughters, later divorcing. She lived in Wayne, Norfolk, Seward and finally settled in David City in 1994. June had worked for Protective Fire and Casualty, Seward Motor Freight and David City manufacturing. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in David City, enjoyed gardening and camping and was a huge Husker fan. She loved spending time with her family and has a large collection of biographies of many actors and actresses. June is survived by her three daughters; Rhonda (Troy) Magnuson of Bruno, Lori (Terry) Wilson of Lincoln, Amy (Dale) Westerhaus of Hoskins, nine grandchildren, Matt (Helen) Graybill of David City, Konner Magnuson of Hutchinson, KS, Levi (Rachael) Magnuson of Lincoln, Kristian Magnuson of Tilden, NE, Lydia (Jeromy) Horner of Arlington, NE, Mitchell Siebrandt and Dusty Siebrandt both of Hoskins, NE, Brandon Westerhaus of Norfolk, NE, Tanner Westerhaus of Pilger, NE, 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Vern.
