Obituary published in The Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum. 1 Mar 1972: Mrs. Gladys Kent, 72, Is Found Dead Mrs. Gladys Mae Kent, 72, of Tiffin, a former Bloomville resident, was found dead in her home at 12:30 p.m. yesterday by a daughter and a neighbor. Mrs. Kent was born Aug. 27, 1899 in Hills City, Kansas, daughter of Thomas and Isabelle Merwin Mee. In 1928 she married Thomas S. Reavis, who died in 1932. Surviving is her second husband, Russell E. Kent, whom she married in 1938. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marva) Coffman, Tiffin, and Mrs. James (JoAnn) King of Republic, two sons, Marvin D. Kent of Fostoria and Buron A. Kent of Bloomville, 17 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother, Melville Mee of Weston, Colo. She was preceded in death by a son, James T. Reavis, and a brother. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Olds Pancoast Funeral Home in Bloomville with Rev. Joseph R. Foster officiating. Burial will be made in Rock Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
