Duncan Banner, Thurs., June 19, 2008 Comanche - EDNA M. RUDOLF, 91, of Comanche, Okla., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, in Wilkins Nursing Center. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Duncan Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul McDowell officiating. Burial will be under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home. Edna was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Sparks, Okla., to Robert and Mary Muzny Knesek. She lived in Comanche for 55 years. She taught school at Woodrow Wilson in Duncan, retiring in May 1979. She married Adolf Rudolf on Oct. 25, 1943, in Spartanburg, S.C. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Adolf of the home; three sons, Randall Rudolf of Carrollton, Texas, Harold Rudolf of Herndon, Va., and Milton Rudolf of Bullard, Texas; a daughter, Barbara Cason of Stilwell, Kan.; two brothers, Robert and Adolph Knesek; three sisters, Kay Onstott, Lillian Lewis and Evelyn McKay; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Marie Holasek.
