Bio

Sarah was the daughter of Phillip P. and Lucy Penny Dedman of Virginia. She married first William Foster on February 1, 1830 in Mercer Co, Kentucky. From this union were born three known children: James A, Thomas W. and Lucinda Ann "Lucy" Coleman-Robb. She married second Benjamin Patton Ritchie on May 6. 1838 in McAfee, Mercer Co, Kentucky. From this union were born seven known children: James Henry, William Hume, John Silas, Mary Louisa Long, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Batterton, Susan E. Canada and Annie C. Daniel.
