Bio

Katie's existence is not recorded anywhere in the collective memory of the Molczyk Family. In 2003, a reference to her was found in probatel papers pertaining to her father, Andrew's estate. She was listed with the other Molczyk Children. A burial certificate confirms that she was a resident of Beatrice, Nebraska's Evergreen Home when she died of influenza in 1924. It is also noted that she had epilepsy. It is conjecture that she had been a handicapped child who had been institutionalized and was not acknowledged by the family out of embarrassment.
