Obituary (from the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home website): Martha Ellen Dunn, beloved resident of Durant, Oklahoma, born on July 19, 1940, in McKinney, Texas, to Vernon and Beulah (Grissom) Davidson, gained her heavenly wings on November 2, 2024. Martha worked for Triangle Pacific Cabinets for many years, contributing her skills and hard work to the company. Martha also had a passion for outdoors, particularly tending to her flowerbeds, collecting porcelain dolls, watching western shows, shopping at thrift stores and Goodwill, and most cherished camping and fishing with her loved ones. Martha was a devoted member of Westside Church of Christ in Princeton, Texas. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, "Gigi" (great-grandmother), great-great grandmother, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Martha is survived by her brother, Billy Davidson and wife, Donna Davidson of Melissa, Texas; sister, Gail Hughes and husband, Jim Hughes of Altoga, Texas; daughter, Anna Grady of Oklahoma; son, Johnny Grady and wife, Linda Grady of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Vernon Grady of Princeton, Texas; son, Haywood Reed Dunn and significant other, Debbie Kemp of Sherman, Texas; granddaughters, Jessica Honea and Juli Freeman, both of Oklahoma, Tanya White and husband, Joe White of Orange, Texas, Patricia Briggle of Colbert, Oklahoma, Barbara Converse and husband, Eric Converse of Durant, Oklahoma, Tiffany Grady, also of Durant, Oklahoma, Lanora Grady of Calera, Oklahoma, Jessica Belcher of Durant, Oklahoma, Jennifer Turney and husband, Sean Turney of Terlingua, Texas, Amanda Grady of Princeton, Texas, and Jacqueline Grady of Colbert, Oklahoma; grandsons, Johnny Grady, Jr. and significant other, Angela Mullenax of Cartwright, Oklahoma, David Grady of Colbert, Oklahoma, Jason Young of Mead, Oklahoma, Vernon Grady, II of Sherman, Texas, Josh Grady and wife, Ashley Grady of Oklahoma, and Cody Dunn and significant other, Sarah of Sherman, Texas; 18 great-grandsons; 27 great-granddaughters; 10 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Willie Vernon and Beulah Davidson; brothers, Vernon Robert Davidson and Gerald Ray Davidson; son, Billy Murl Grady; great-grandson, Daniel Jason Grady; husband, Haywood Dunn; and lifelong friend, Johnnie Leo Grady. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Altoga Cemetery in Altoga, Texas for a committal service. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
