Bio

Teresa Darlene Kaderka, 74, of Bastrop, formerly of Rockdale, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at her home in Bastrop. She was born on December 31, 1949 to Nolan P., Sr. and Laquita June (Ellis) Doss in Rockdale. She graduated from Rockdale High School before going on to receive a bachelor's degree. On September 27, 1980, she married David Wayne Kaderka in Rockdale. They were married for 8 years until his death on October 28, 1988. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, and was a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed playing cards, dominos, and backgammon. She always had a companion dog, she loved all of them especially her current dog, Scooby Doo. She is preceded in death by her mother, Laquita June Doss; father, Nolan P. Doss, Sr. and wife Lois Douglas Doss; husband, David Wayne Kaderka; sister, Lavita Richter; and brother, Bill Doss. In accordance with Teresa's wishes, there will be no services and she will be buried next to her husband in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. PHILLIPS & LUCKEY FUNERAL HOME
