Beatrice "Bea" Machovsky triumphantly entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. Bea was born on March 6, 1947 to parents John Ludwig Dubec and Hattie Praslicka Dubec in Rosenberg, Texas. Bea's family relocated to Waxahachie from the Houston area when she was a young girl. She graduated from Waxhachie High School in 1965. Eventually she became a legal assistant at McGuire, Craddock & Strother, working along side Chuck McGuire for about 40 years prior to retirement. She retired from The Texas State Guard Association as a First Lieutenant. She would always stop to smell the flowers. Especially the red ones, as that was her favorite color. She was passionate about flowers and enjoyed visiting the Dallas Arboretum. She enjoyed replicating life expressing her artistic talent using water colors to create beautiful landscapes and flowers. And according to Bea, there will never be a musician as talented as Elvis Presley. While Bea had many passions in life, there were none more precious to her as her faith. As a devout Catholic, she had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie since moving there as a child. She took immense joy in singing praises to God in the church choir. Above all, she loved God, and because St. Joseph to her, was God's house, she always felt she was home when attending. She is survived by sister Anne Meredith, sister-in-law, Jill Dubec, nieces Donna Graham and Rhonda Wetzel as well as some very special people in her life, Nick and Kayla Hester, Ethan and Julia Reeves Hester and son, Heath, Amarie Hester, and long-time friend, Shelia Tidwell and family. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Robbie, her parents, siblings, Mary Stewart, Charlie Dubec, Johnny Dubec, Stanley Dubec, niece Dixie Stewart and nephew Christophor Meredith. And very special person, David Adlof. In lieu of flowers, Bea would have wanted to make a difference for a child. Some of her favorite charities included St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children, Feed the Children, or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel, 600 E. Marvin Ave., Waxahachie, Texas.
