Bio
Patricia Louise (Moravec) Eggerling, 85, of Waco, passed away on November 4, 2024 in Lincoln, NE. Born December 7, 1938 to William "Bill" and Lydia (Hamsa) Moravec in Seward, NE. Pat graduated from Utica High School, class of 1956. She married Ralph Eggerling September 8, 1957 at the Utica Presbyterian Church. From this union they had two daughters, Nancy (Matthew) Lee and Carol Loury. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family attending all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities. She always took the scenic route when traveling. Playing the piano and organ were very important to her as was attending craft shows, gardening, making quilts and never skipped a chance to host a garage sale. The color purple was her favorite one of all. As a member of Peace Lutheran Church, she was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Waco Ladies exercising and coffee group. She is survived by her daughters and one son-in-law; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and extended family. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph, parents, Bill and Lydia Moravec; stepmother Irene Moravec; brother and sister-in-law Marlin and Betty Eggerling, mother and father in law Alfred and Esther Eggerling. Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Waco with the Reverend Charles Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the Waco Cemetery.
