Raymond Joseph Parolek September 12, 1942 - October 27, 2024 Raymond Joseph Parolek, 82, of Lincoln, passed away on October 27, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1942, to Joseph and Ann (Jindra) Parolek in Schuyler, NE. He was married to Joleen Van Dyke at St. Isadore in Columbus, NE on April 27, 1968. Raymond graduated from Schuyler High School. He served 3 years in the Army and was a mechanic for over 20 years. Raymond loved to fish and take drives in the country. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching westerns. Raymond is survived by his wife, Joleen, of 56 years; daughter, Karen (Parolek) Troester; son-in-law; Justin Troester; grandson, Gabriel Allen; siblings, Patrick Parolek, Mary Ann (Joe) Ornelas, Paul (Linda) Parolek, David Parolek and Ronald Parolek; along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ann, brother, Richard Parolek , sister, Christine and sister-in-law, Marilyn. Rosary will be held 10:00 am Thursday, October 31, 2024 at North American Martyrs Catholic Church, 1101 Isaac Drive, Lincoln, NE. Followed by Mass at 10:30 am.
