Bio

Kenneth Howard Lile Kenneth Howard Lile passed away February 23, 2022, at the age of 91. Kenneth was born November 17, 1930, in Emhouse, Texas to Elmer Lile and Maggie Estell Hill. Growing up in Plainview with his siblings: Thomas Lile, Marjorie Harris, Sylvia Lee Kitchens, Charles Lile, Sam Lile, Durwood Lile, Patsy Shuck, and Sally David, Kenneth went to work in the cotton fields after 4th grade. Kenneth served our country in the military from 1953 until 1960. He served in the Air Force 1953-1955 and then the Army 1955-1960. A hard worker, he worked for General Motors assembly plant in Arlington from June 1955 until October 1997, retiring after 42 years. Even in his free time he enjoyed working on his farm and patenting his own hand-crafted tools. He loved to create new farm implements! Kenneth married Addie Ruth McDonald on June 5, 1971, and became father to LIVING. Kenneth loved his family and came to cherish his later role as PawPaw, showing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditional love and gratitude. He enjoyed loving on them all. Kenneth was a God-loving man who shared the gospel with everyone. A member of First Baptist Church of Blooming Grove, he lived out his faith in service to others, graciously sponsoring the Boys Ranch. He was quick to remind everyone, "God loves you." Giving aid when it was needed, he made the world a better place. He was a genuinely kind, patient, and giving man who will be remembered for his love of Jesus Christ. Kenneth leaves behind his granddaughters LIVING, his grandsons LIVING, his great-granddaughters LIVING, his great-grandsons LIVING. To honor Kenneth's life, the family has planned a visitation on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Corley Funeral Home from 5 -7 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, March 4, 2022, at 11 AM in the Magnolia Chapel at Corley Funeral Home with Bro. Grady Cashion officiating. Burial will follow at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse, TX.
