Bio

Gladys A. Mendlik, 91 years, of Lincoln, Nebraska died Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Fallbrook Assisted Living in Lincoln. Gladys was born January 27, 1930 in Howells, Nebraska to Frank and Eulalia (Ritzdorf) Pojar. She grew up in Dodge and was a graduate of Dodge High School. She married Marion Mendlik October 7, 1947 in Dodge. The couple lived in Dodge and moved to Lincoln in 1949. Gladys was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Lincoln. She previously worked at Sears in sales. Upon retirement spent many summers fishing and boating. She is survived by her husband, Marion; daughter, Diane of Omaha; son, David of North Platte and daughter, Carol of Lincoln; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
