Bio

San Angelo Standard Times Thursday 18 Jun 1964. Obit : Mrs Granzin Rites set Friday in Miles Mrs Louise Granzin, 81 of Miles died at Clinic-Hospital here at 12:30 a. m. Wendesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles with the Rev. T. O. Michael, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Miles Cemetery directed by Johnson-Lacy Funeral Home of Miles. Mrs. Granzin was born Sept. 23, 1882 in Washington County, and was married to Otto L. Granzin Dec. 30, 1902. They lived near Georgetown until nov 12, 1924 when they moved to Miles. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Mr. Granzin died in 1940. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ella Straach and Mrs Lydia Hester of San Angelo, Mrs. Hilda Gordon and Mrs. Elfrieda Gordon of Miles; three sons, Albert Granzin and Raymond Granzin of Baton Rouge, La.; 13 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Ed Jansen of Austin, Mrs Gus Beckman of Miles and Mrs. A. G. Braun of Georgetown and one brother, Alfred Mueller of Georgetown. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Manfred Mord, Stacy Granzin, Gary Granzin, and Ken Granzin all of Miles, Winfred Nord, George Granzin and Don Gordon, all of San Angelo, Rodney Gordon and Paul Gordon of Austin.
