Bio

Was born in the Czech Republic and after the death of her father, her mother remarried and the family emigrated to the USA. Her family settled in the fertile black-land prairie in Williamson County Texas where she remained for the rest of her life. She suffered from several health issues and the cause of death on her death certificate is listed as Apoplexy, a term no longer in use. After her youngest son passed away the family located a ledger indicating the various medical treatments she was receiving on a daily basis. She died on December 21, 1925 and was survived by her husband, Joe, 2 sons, Anton and Joe and 3 daughters, Mary, Frances and Annie. She was buried at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Cause of death: apoplexy
