Constance "Connie" Kubecka Labay Schoellmann of Nada passed away October 17, 2024 at the age of 92. She was born July 22, 1932 in Nada to the late Paul Kubecka and Lucille Labay Kubecka Buzek. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a member of Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Mothers, KJZT and KJT. She will be remembered for her devout Catholic faith, and her love for pivo and her chickens. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James "Jimmy" Schoellmann; sons Danny Labay, Alan Labay & Betty Vacek, and Paul Labay & wife Sam; grandchildren Amanda Klatt, Jennifer Kudelka & husband Duane, Danielle Kudelka & husband Ryan, Aaron Labay & wife Erin, Jessica Skutca, and Elysse Schuette & husband Chris; sister Annalee Peikert; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Fred Labay, sister Julieann Kotulek, and brothers Leroy Buzek and Louis Buzek. Visitation will be 1:30 pm Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Nada. The rosary will be recited at 2:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 2:30 pm with Rev. Eddie Schoellmann officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are B. J. Peikert, Mark Kotulek, Larry Wayne Kotulek, Chris Schuette, Aaron Labay, and Cory Kudelka. Donations in memory of Connie Schoellmann may be made to The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers (MaryknollSociety.org); St. Mary Church or Hall; or Garwood Vol. Fire Dept.
