Bio
Parents are William Burton and Mary Ann Wood, both from England. In their marriage they had six children. William did not come on the journey West, there is no death date for him, however, Mary Ann gave birth to a child that was born and died the same day in Missouri in 1852. And from six children only 2 have survived to make the trip West. Mary Ann and Lorenzo and Amelia joined the John Banks Company to journey to Utah. There was no information from the parents history, nor from the companies information to say why Lorenzo Burton passed away nor where he is approximately buried. 12 year old Burton is buried along the Mormon Trail in Nebraska.
