It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the news of the passing of Glenn Edwin Jupe, age 69, due to Cardiac Arrest. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Glenn was born on Saturday, August 22, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to the parents of Farmer and Ruth Jupe. He graduated from Sam Houston High School, San Antonio, Texas. Glenn entered into Holy Matrimony with Becky Jupe. Glenn had three (3) children from a previous marriage. His display of love for his family was a blessing to behold. Glenn worked for the Immigration and Naturalization Service for 41 years until he retired in 2016. During his employment, he assisted immigrants wanting to be Americans, and Glenn often proudly led the naturalization ceremonies. In addition, he visited several overseas countries managing refugee services in embassies, including Cairo, Ghana, Haiti, and Guatemala while also working in NYC, achieving a lifelong dream. Glenn was an excellent bowler who bowled at Highland Social Club where he presided for a period and played in many tournaments around the state and country, achieving at least one perfect game. He was a massive fan of UTSA football, the Cowboys, Spurs basketball, Chelsea, and the Yankees. He was part of the Rolls-Royce Club. Glenn was best known for his ability to dream, fun sense of humor, and generous spirit. His charismatic personality made it easy to become friends with everyone, including being on a first-name basis with the baristas during his frequent Starbucks visits. To know Glenn was a pleasure and a blessing. He is survived by his wife, Becky Elizabeth Jupe; two sons, Stephen Angelo (Heather) Jupe, and Andrew Paul (Cara) Jupe; one daughter, Georgette Jupe (Nico) Pradier; granddaughter, Annabelle; his mother, Ruth Elizabeth Jupe; four sisters, Constance Newman, Suzanne (Martin) Puente, Nancy (Theo) Mihalski, and Kathleen Elizabeth (Tommy) Tausch; and one brother, Joel (Norine) Jupe. His presence in our lives will be truly missed. The Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 25th, at Dellcrest Funeral Home, 2023 South W.W. White Road, San Antonio, Texas. Immediately following the Mass Service everyone is welcome to attend a Family and Friends Gathering at Highland Social Club, 2929 South W.W. White Road, San Antonio, Texas. As per Glenn's request, we encourage you to not wear black but instead wear colorful attire (i.e., Hawaiian shirts, lighter pants, etc.).
