Dennis Ray Hinote "Granddaddy" passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was born on March 11,1946 in Pensacola, Florida. A true outdoorsman, Nascar enthusiast, hardworking business owner for many years, and member of various fraternal orders including the Masons, Elks, and Honorary Shriner, Dennis leaves behind a legacy of family and friends that will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father Hamilton Hinote, mother Betty Hinote, daughter Charlotte Thompson, and sister Linda Boergenson. Surviving family include wife Brenda Hinote (Bonds), cousin and best friend Frankie Moore (Vera), daughters Janet Thomas, April Toyne (Clay), and Ashley Minton. His grandchildren are Kristy Stone (Justin Wood), Austin Thompson (Brandi), Summer Stacey, Candice Stacey, Elijah Thomas (Kayla), Kaylee Finley (Clay), Lacey Talley (Nic), Camren Ferguson, and Anna Ferguson. He has eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Dennis' was particularly impactful in the lives of his grandchildren. He was the man that could do anything, was always there when he was needed, and never shied away from sharing his wisdom (whether it was welcome or not).
