Christine Elizabeth Knezek, 84, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in Wichita Falls. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wichita Falls with the Rev. Hoa Nguyen officiating. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Serving as pallbearers will be David Simons, John Parker, Ed, Louis, Bruce and Stanley Pastusek. Daughter of the late Frank and Anna Trojcak Pastusek, she was born July 12, 1922, in Megargel. On April 6, 1948, she married Leo Knezek in Megargel at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. They moved to Wichita Falls in 1951. Christine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she made the rosaries for the missions and first holy communion, baptismal stoles, was a member of the Altar Society and the Rosary Group and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul store. She enjoyed quilting with the Altar Society, sewing, crocheting and taking care of her farm. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leo Knezek, and her brothers, Pat and Frank Pastusek. Survivors: Her daughter, Catherine Baker and husband, Darrell, of LaRue; sons, George Knezek and wife, Linda, and Charles Knezek and wife, Marsha, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Danine, Mike, Jeri Lynn, John, William, Kate and Alexis; and five great-grandchildren.
