Son of John Clark James & Julia Ann [Simpson] James Married Sarah Elizabeth Thompson about 1876 OBITUARY: Provided by Linda Mullen Fairfield Recorder; Feb. 24, 1888 MT. ZION—Mr. J.P. James east of town died of relapse of measles. He leaves a wife and five small children. He was about 35 years old, the son of Mr. J.C. James of Sugar Hill neighborhood.
