The following information is from Mrs. Martha A. Basden, Widow's Application for a Pension, # 40993, Tarrant County, Texas, filed June 19, 1925, and approved June 29, 1925: Martha Ann was born in Dade County, Georgia. She married John Henry Basden on October 26, 1865, in Dade County, Georgia. He died March 29, 1889. Martha Ann Basden died on August 28, 1928 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at the home of her son-in-law, G. M. White. - information from email received
