Bio

Catherine (Kate) Morford Bryant was born in 1853, daughter of John Bell Morford and Margaret Anna McLaughlin Morford. Her siblings were Emma Jane Morford Thomas and Mary Morford. After her father's death, her mother married Sample Robert Moore. Kate married Harvey Bryant and gave birth to a daughter, Edna Bryant, about 1872. Kate and Harvey moved to a claim in the Wichita, Kansas, area in 1873. Kate died March 1, 1874.
