Bio

Michael Arthur Hullett, 63 of Maypearl, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Michael's love for life included family and motorsports, especially motocross and drag racing. Michael excelled at anything on two wheels beginning with motocross in the 1970's until retiring from drag racing in 2002. He will be remembered for his passion for racing and his ability to almost always find the winner's circle in the various events in which he competed. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; father Arthur James(A.J.) Hullett, Jr., mother Shirley Anne (Humphries) Hullett; grandparents and others. He is survived by his wife, one son, one grandson, and one sister, several aunts & uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel, 511 W. Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas 75165. Chaplain Chuck Smith will officiate the service. The family will hold a private interment ceremony at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Rockett, Texas in the near future. Arrangements are under the direction of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home of Waxahachie, Texas.
