Bio
A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley Ann Schneider, 53, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cyclone. Mrs. Schneider died Sunday, Aug. 25, at a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1971, in Temple to Emil and Frances Pekar Polasek. She graduated from Temple High School in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. She worked for more than 20 years as a medical coder for Advent Health. She married Gerald Schneider on Oct. 24, 1992 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple. Survivors include her husband of Temple; her mother of Belton; and two sisters, Jo Ann Klepac of Temple and Dorothy Anne Fuentes of Academy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple or to any local animal shelter. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5 p.m. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
