Janice Ann Stutts April 17, 1949  -  August 24, 2024 Janice Ann Stutts (Granny), 75 years old of Pioneer, LA, gained her angel wings on August 24, 2024 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA. Anyone that knew Granny knew that she loved and loved big, with all her heart. She especially loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them every chance she could. Children could light up her eyes and make her smile from ear to ear like nothing else. She also loved her church and her community and was the first to put her servant heart to work for those in need. Her sweet smile, kind heart and delicious meals will be dearly missed by all. Granny is preceded in death by her father, Frank Smith; mother, Ollie D. Corley; brother, William (Bill) Smith; sisters, Dorothy Berndt and Sherry Corley. Granny is survived by her cherished family, Trey & Donna Stutts (son) of Homer, LA; Jennifer Stutts (daughter) of Minden, LA; Sara & Stanley Chestnut (daughter) of Fort Smith, AR; grandchildren (Brandon, Scott, Caleb, Colby, Brittney, and Paige); great grandchildren (Ally, Addy, Henslie, Ellis, Cori, Bentley, Saylor and Harper); Toney R. Smith (brother) of Pioneer, LA, and Toni and Larry Hagen (niece) of Oak Grove, LA along with a host of other special nieces, nephews, family and friends that she dearly loved. Granny's family asks that all her loved ones and friends join them at New Prospect Baptist Church in Pioneer, LA, on Saturday, September 7, at 10:00 A.M. to memorialize her life and celebrate her entry into her new heavenly home. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Children's Fund at New Prospect Baptist or a charity of your choice.
