Stephanie Ione Smith, 77, formerly of Milesburg, PA passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Embassy of Hearthside in State College. Born on February 8, 1947, in Sayre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. William M. and Juanita (Clyde) Grover. Stephanie was a graduate of Brockway High School, class of 1965. She worked many years in the restaurant and hotel service industry. Stephanie is survived by her son, William Andrew (Andy) Robert Gulbernat, of State College and a brother, Stephen W. Grover and his wife, Norma, of Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her close friend John Haines of Milesburg, Pa and husband, Barry Robert Gulbernat of Phillipsburg, PA. Stephanie liked to cook, crochet items, and process word games. Following Stephanie's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. She will have a small private graveside service and will be interned at the Ulysses, PA Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc in Milesburg, PA.
