Dorothy Louise Sebesta, age 91, of Rogers, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with funeral service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Rd., Temple, TX 76504 with Pastor Mark Sebek officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, 503 County Road 104, Buckholts, Texas. Dorothy was born in Bell County, February 15, 1933 to Adela Bessie (Schiller) and Joe L. Chudej, and married Edwin Louis Sebesta August 5, 1953. Dorothy attended nursing school at King's Daughter Hospital where she received her LVN certificate,and work for King's Daughter Hospital until her retirement after 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Albert Lee Chudej. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Edwin of Rogers; son, Richard Sebesta and wife Fleshia; daughter, Shirley Marek and husband Kenneth; granddaughter, Jennifer Chervenka and husband John Paul; grandson, Jeffrey Ashcraft and wife Mari; 8 - great-grandchildren, Jessica Chervenka, Jacelyn Chervenka, Joanna Chervenka, Jaidyn Chervenka, Jacob Chervenka, Anabelle Chervenka, Bryson Ashcraft and Corbin Ashcraft.
