Eunice E. Decker May 20, 1918 – June 23, 2003 Eunice E. Yarger Decker, 85 of Ripon died of cancer June 23 at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto, California. Mrs. Decker was a native of Mankato, MN and lived in Ripon, CA for 33 years. She was the former finance director for the city of Manteca for 17 years. She was a member of the Manteca Quilting Guild. She attended the First Congregational Church of Ripon. She was a volunteer at the Ripon Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed bicycling and gardening. She is survived by her children, Joan Hillery of Turlock and Lary Decker of Chico; brothers Bruce Yarger of Atlantic, Iowa, Larry Yarger of Bedford, England and Dennis Yarger of Wichita, Kansas; and a sister Gwen Amonson of Eagle Grove, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Owen Decker in 1975. A memorial service will be at 2 pm Thursday at First Congregational Church. No public visitation. Her ashes will be scattered at sea. Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, Ripon, in charge of arrangements. Remembers may be made to the American Cancer Society, 207 E Alpine Ave, Stockton, CA 95204.
