Services for Norma Jean Payne, 83, of Temple will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2024, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Mrs. Payne died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at a hospice facility in Temple. She was born March 16, 1941, in Temple to Robert Frank and Lillian Maurine Proctor Haisler. She worked as a merchandiser for the Hallmark corporation. She married Milton Allen Payne. Survivors include her husband of Temple; two daughters, Leisha Toliver of Belton and Michelle Payne of McDade; and one grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Hospice House, 2608 N. Main St., Suite B, Box 195, Belton, TX 76513; or to Dementia Enrichment Center, 9370 Brewer Road, Salado, TX 76571.
