He was preceded in death parents Eli and Lucy Campbell Shockey and his 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by wife, Martha Shockey; daughter, Christina Salter and husband John; son, Doyle Ray Shockey Jr, and his wife Lori and numerous grandchildren. There will be a Celerbration of His Life on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Rock Hill Gospel Church, 1121 Oasis St. NB. New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung (TX) - Sunday, July 22, 2018
