Bio
Henry Gregory Saba, Jr., a lifetime resident of Dallas, TX, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, at his home at the age of 68. He was born October 30, 1955, to Henry and Barbara Saba. Gregg was a roofer by trade and a remodeler of homes. He poured his creativity into his hobbies which included sketching building skylines and decorating the exteriors of homes for the Christmas holidays. Everything Christmas was his passion, from planting Christmas trees to hanging lights. He also enjoyed running and biking to stay fit. Having played football in high school, Gregg became an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed time spent with them. Greg considered his greatest accomplishment being "best uncle" to his nephews and nieces. Gregg is survived by siblings and their spouses: Kathy and Larry Parks, Susie Lamb, Sherry and Shane Driggs, Janice and Mark Griffies, Robert Saba, Joseph and Mary Saba; nephews and nieces: Lisa and Frank Zwanziger, Brandy and Joe Eastman, Courtney Lamb, Shane Driggs, Rachael McDonald, Robby Saba, Nathan Saba, Adam Saba, Andrew Saba and Kendra Saba; great nephews and nieces: Elijah, Liam and Henry Griffies, Lainey Mae Eastman, and Ethan Saba. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett. The family will gather with friends for visitation prior to the service beginning at 9:00am. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, followed by a catered reception at the funeral home.
