William Ross, State Official, Dies at Weiser WEISER (Special) — William T. Ross, 49, of Weiser, an Idaho state sheep inspector for the last 12 years and a well-known Washington county resident, died Sunday afternoon in a Weiser hospital after an illness of three months. Mr. Ross was born Aug. 1, 1903, at Churchill, Tenn., and had resided in Weiser for more than 20 years. He was married May 10, 1952, at Payette to Naomi Black of Weiser. He was a member of the Weiser Knights of Pythias lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Naomi Ross of Weiser; a step-son, Allan Barrows of Boise; a step-daughter, Mrs. Murray Shipnuck of Palo Alto, Cal.; one brother, Ekel Ross of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nell Taylor of Seymour, Tenn., and Mrs. Rachel Potter of Knoxville, and an uncle, Jim Ross of Weiser.
