Bio
Marcus Anthony Klocker was born on a farm in Stratton Colorado on February 21st, 1931, to Marcus Antone Klocker and Catherine Barbara Klocker (Reedy). Marcus went to Green Knoll Elementary and St. Charles Academy in Stratton, Colorado; Hilltop Elementary School for eighth grade and High School at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colorado. Marcus Married Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Hoefer on January 16, 1954. The jobs he held included General Farm and Ranch Work, U.S. Post Office, Coors Brewing, State of Colorado Water Commissioner, Klocker's Orchard, Sterns and Rogers and most notably Marcus served in the United States Army. Owning and running Klocker's Orchards was his greatest achievement, and he was so proud of the things he grew. Marcus loved his wife, Betty Ann, farming, photography, and all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed deeply by his family and all who knew him. Marcus is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Also, his wife Betty and two sons, Mark and Roland. He is survived by his children, Carl Klocker (Sandy) of Grand Junction, Gregory Klocker (Becky), Victoria Mace (Steve) of Peoria, AZ and Kathleen Klocker (Brit Worster) of Grand Junction. He has 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday July 27th, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Ann's Catholic Church, and Committal Shelter Service will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado on Monday July 29th, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.
