The Daily Post-Athenian Mrs. Nora Ethel Rowland Died September 30, 1986 Mrs. Nora Ethel Rowland, 84, of Aiken, S.C., died Tuesday in South Carolina. A resident of the Jones Chapel Community for over 60 years, she had lived with her daughter in South Carolina for the last year-and-a-half. She was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, and was the widow of the late Calvin Frank Rowland. Survivors include a daughter, Janice McRee of Aiken; two sons, Herman Rowland of Garden Prairie, Ill., and Howard Rowland of Etowah; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a foster-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11a.m. Saturday at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. John Roberson and Perry Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the services. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 at Bordwine Funeral Home.
