Long Illness Fatal To W. Hitchcock W. R. (Al) Hitchcock, a supervisor for the Pel State Oil Co., died at 1:30 a.m. today at Schumpert Hospital after a long illness. He was a member of Noel Memorial Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Hitchcock of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. R. J. Gibson, Belmont, Mass., Mrs. J. R. Lang Jr., Shaw AFB, S.C., and Miss Helen Hitchcock of Baton Rouge; his mother, Mrs. W. S. Hitchcock, McKinney, Tex., five brothers, V. C. Hitchcock, Garland, Tex., J. B. Hitchcock, Big Spring, Tex., C. E. Hitchcock, San Antonio, Tex., and W. D. Hitchcock, Garland, Tex., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Nader, pastor of Noel Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park.
