Bio
Son of Henry & Josie (Hanzel) Krepel. He attended Schuyler High School, and on February 22, 1944, was drafted into the US Army. He was honorably discharged on June 24, 1946. Leonard was united in marriage to Correnne "Corky" Moural on June 12, 1949, in Schuyler. He was a foreman at Behlen Manufacturing for over 40 years. For the last 18 years, Leonard and Corky were asst. managers of Columbus Place Apartments. Leonard enjoyed collecting John Deere Tractors, camping, and word puzzles. He was a member of the VFW of Schuyler, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus where he was a Sunday van driver. Leonard delivered meals-on-wheels and received the Columbus Sunshine Award.
