Bio
Paul A. Childress Jr., a native of Baldwin County and resident of Loxley died Saturday, May 31, 2008. He was 76. Childress was a dairy farmer and cattleman. Survivors include his wife, Joy Bill Childress of Loxley; two daughters, Holly A. Crawford of Loxley and C. Kay Wagner of St. Francisville, La.; four sons, Paul A. Childress III, Harry B. Childress, Troy D. Childress, all of Loxley, and Charles A. "Chuck" Childress of Summerdale; two brothers, Johnny Childress of Seminole and Aaron Childress of Rosinton; 18 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532 or to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
