Bio
Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the age of 94. Born May 10, 1927 on a farm outside the Hamlet of Ithaca in Richland County, Wisconsin. Marvin was the second of six children born to Marvin Moses and Ida Ann [nee Sands] Fry. His parents and siblings have all preceded him as have wives Rose Hauser [nee Lauer], Darlene Fry [nee Swamp, Mueller] and Joan Fry [nee Martin Zwaska], his oldest son Marvin A. Fry and stepsons William Martin and James Martin. Loving father of Margaret [Jerry] Flannigain, Carol [Jim] Schroeder, David [Bonnie] Fry, Debra Kauer, Mary Fry, Cindi Jennerjohn, Loreen [Tom] Mueller, Lyn [Dave] Woloszyk, Loretta Fry and Tammy [Roy] Krueger; daughters-in-law Kathy Fry and Noel Skarpmoen; step-daughters Barbara [Gary Romain] Swamp and Jo [Joan Pendergast] Swamp; step-sons Joe [Sharon] Martin and Bob [Patty] Martin. Marvin also leaves behind many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Marvin was a longtime member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 2, Runge-Graham VFW Post 1691 and Memorial Lutheran Church in Glendale, Wisconsin. Visitation Saturday, February 19 at the HARDER FUNERAL HOME from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Memorial Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
