Obituary Shirley Jean Terry joined the Kingdom of Heaven July 11, 2024. She was born August 10, 1934 to Alton and Zelda (Hassell) Hollabaugh in Dallas, Texas. She was a 1953 graduate of W.H. Adamson High School, Shirley worked for Her Majesty and Wrangler under the Dallas Apparel Mart; however, her most cherished role was as loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley became the beloved bride of Marvin "Buzz" A. Terry on July 17, 1953. The couple welcomed three children, Debby, Mike, and Glen – and shared four grandchildren – Candice, Brookes, Jennifer and Landyn, six great grandchildren, and 51 years devoted to each other before his passing in 2004. Shirley was a passionate crafter and gardener. She loved working in her flowerbeds but was happiest spending quality time with her family. Shirley had a kind, sweet spirit, not a mean bone in her body, and a heart of gold. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin "Buzz" A. Terry; and siblings Mary Nell Griffin and Tommy Hollabaugh. Shirley is survived by her children Debby Terry, Mike Terry, Glen Terry; grandchildren Candice and husband Bo, Brookes, Jennifer and husband Eric, Landyn; great-grandchildren Julia, Marigrace, River, Remi, Reese, and Dori.
