Marsha is the daughter of James Bertine Glenn and Cynthia Emily Pettyjohn. She married a Mr.Casner about 1864 and gave birth to a stillborn baby girl in 1865 and maybe 3 other babies. She was about 16 years old. She was married to Joe Crandall and had two children, Rosa and Joseph Crandall. Her son, Joseph died in Joplin Missouri, after being hit by a train. Her third marriage was to Charles E. Wood, and they had a daughter, Edna May Wood. Her fourth marriage was to Elijah Blackburn. She lived in the Galena, Kansas and Joplin, Missouri area, most of her life, except for the time she lived with relatives after the Civil War, where she worked at Fort Scott as a young girl, caring for Civil War soliders. She also did laundry for Belle Starr. She lost her sight in her later years and lost part of her nose to cancer.
