The parents of Daniel Willis Myers were John Thomas Myers and Margaret McIntire Myers. He was born in Bates County, Missouri. He married Minnie Viola Shipman on 24 Sep 1893 in Erath County, Texas. They moved to the Eldorado area, arriving on 27 Sep 1901. He was a farmer. He died near Eldorado, Oklahoma.
