Shirley was born on Dec. 12, 1931, in Hammond, Ind., the daughter of Harold and Marie Donahue McKibben, who both preceded her in death. She was married to Roy Arlen Hubbartt from Gary, Ind., for 22 years. Shirley worked in advertising and sales for the San Angelo Standard-Times and later moved to Odessa, Texas. On June 26, 1976, she married Jerry Perotti, who has been her loving spouse for almost 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Romeo Jerry Perotti of San Angelo; her brother, George Thomas McKibben of Naples, Fla.; her three sons, Scott Arlen Hubbartt and wife Cynthia, Ronald Earl Hubbartt and wife Sung Hae, and Timothy Ray Hubbartt and wife Elizabeth; stepchildren Debbie Alvarez and husband Jesse, Kevin Perotti and Jerry Perotti; and grandchildren Audrey Medley, Scott R. Hubbartt, Grant I. Hubbartt, Derrick T. Hubbartt, Matthew Gutierrez Hubbartt, Valerie Alvarez, David Alvarez and Anthony Perotti. Shirley was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her strong Christian faith was evident throughout her life, but most of all at the end of her life, giving comfort and courage to her surviving children and friends. She was always kind and gentle to everyone she encountered, especially her neighbors, and was always there for her family. Her wonderful laughter and sparking spirit will be greatly missed by all. There will be no interment. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the loving workers of Hospice of San Angelo for their compassionate care during her passing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of San Angelo or the American Cancer Society. "I have finished the work, which you have given me to do." John 17:4
