Evening Vanguard (Venice, Calif.), September 10, 1956, p. 7, col. 4 Ernest L. Litty Taken by Death Rosary will be recited tonight for Ernest Louis Litty, 61, of 11125 Barman Ave., Culver City. He died Saturday. Born in David City, Neb., Mr. Litty had resided in this community for 10 years. He leaves his widow, Henrietta, three sons and three daughters. They are Ernest J. Litty of Baltimore, Md.; Henry A. Litty of Castro Valley, Calif.; Donald F. Litty of Kentwood; Rose Mary Weidinger of Culver City; Lucille Zoller of Pacific Palisades, and Kathleen Neal of Santa Ana. Four sisters and two brothers as well as a number of grandchildren also survive. The Rosary is set for 7:30 tonight at the Chapel of Smith & Salsbury with requiem mass to be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Augustine's Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Culver City. Mr. Litty is survived by his wife, Etta, and six children.
