Hazel married first Eugene Virgil Pierson on February 6, 1925 in Pineville, Missouri. They had two daughters. Ruby Jane Pierson (1925-2007) Lillian Frances Pierson (1927-1928) Eugene died in 1928. Hazel married second Rutherford Austin Hays on October 14, 1930 in Washington County, Arkansas. They had eight known children. Tulsa World (OK) Fri, Oct 30, 1998, Pg 2 Vinita -- Hazel A. Hays, 94, Vinita Hotel cook, died Wednesday. Graveside services 1 p.m. Saturday, Pheasant Hill Cemetery. Luginbuel.
