Bio

Name of Record of Funeral is Lillie Bolin McMurry. Parents were Jeff Ford and Eliza Jane White. Rites Held For Mrs. Lillie McMurry Final rites for Mrs. Lillie Fay McMurry were held at 3:30 Monday afternoon in the chapel of the Barry Funeral Home with the Rev. G. C. Johnson, pastor of Carnation Baptist Church, officiating. Music was by Carnation Church Choir with Mrs. Sam Graham as accompanist. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. A. Earnest, W. C. Johnson, Everett Davis, Odell Davis, Harvey Moore and B. F. Maharry Jr. Mrs. McMurry died at 5:15 Sunday morning at Oaklawn Nursing Home in Memphis following an extended illness. She was the widow of Claude McMurry, Okolona farmer, who died about two years ago. She was born in Ector Texas, but had resided in Okolona for about 25 years. She was a Methodist. She leaves five sons, S. D. Bolin and Frank Bolin of Aberdeen, Curtis Lee Bolin of Tupelo and Fred Bolin of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Keifer of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Loil Pate of Winfield, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
